The problem

Vehicle costs hide in glove boxes, chats and memory

Fuel bills fade, service invoices vanish, and renewal dates surface only as fines. Most owners can't answer a simple question: what does this vehicle actually cost per kilometre?

Scattered records

Receipts in the glove box, amounts in chat messages, odometer readings nowhere. There's no single place your vehicle's money story lives.

Missed renewals

Insurance, PUC, FASTag, registration — every document has its own clock. Forgetting one means fines or lapsed cover.

Invisible running cost

Without linked fuel and odometer data, mileage and cost-per-km stay guesses — so bad trends go unnoticed for months.

The solution

One calm ledger for the whole garage

Add every vehicle you own — car, bike, scooter, SUV, truck or auto — then let GarageBook keep the running story: what you spent, what you burned, where you went, and what's due next.

All your vehicles

Six vehicle types, five fuel types — petrol to electric — each with photo, registration and document expiry dates.

Fuel intelligence

Log litres and price — the total is computed for you, and mileage (km/l) is derived automatically from your previous full tank.

Trips with budgets

Record road trips with distance and attach every trip expense — fuel, tolls, food, hotels — for a true cost of travel.

Answers, not just data

Monthly trends, category breakdowns, per-vehicle dashboards and cost-per-km — plus a shareable PDF report.

Questions

Quick answers

Is GarageBook free?

Yes. The app is free and supported by ads from Google AdMob. A "Remove Ads" subscription is planned but not yet available — today no in-app purchase is processed, and you can also turn ads off in Settings.

How is my mileage calculated?

Mark a fill-up as "full tank". When you log your next full tank, GarageBook divides the kilometres travelled since the previous full tank by the litres you just added — that's your real-world km/l.

What do I need to sign up?

A 10-digit Indian mobile number, your name and a 4-digit PIN. No email, no OTP, no password to remember.

Does GarageBook track my location?

No. The app does not request location permission at all. Trip distances come from the odometer readings you enter.
