Yes. GarageBook is free to download and use, supported by ads from Google AdMob. A ₹499/year “Remove Ads” subscription is planned and visible in the app, but it is not purchasable yet — no in-app payment is processed today.

A 10-digit Indian mobile number, your name and a 4-digit PIN. There is no email, no OTP and no password. You must also accept the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

Mark a fill-up as a full tank. The next time you log a full tank, GarageBook divides the kilometres travelled since the previous full tank by the litres added — giving your real-world km/l. Partial fill-ups are recorded but don't produce a mileage figure by themselves.

Cars, bikes, scooters, SUVs, trucks and autos — with petrol, diesel, CNG, electric or hybrid fuel types. There is no limit tied to a payment plan.

Not currently. Reminders are shown inside the app — on the dashboard and in the Reminders tab, colour-coded by urgency. The app does not send push notifications.

No. GarageBook never requests location permission. Trip distances are calculated from odometer readings you enter yourself.

Three: Internet (to talk to the GarageBook API), Camera (to photograph your vehicle) and Photos/Media (to pick an existing photo). Nothing else — no contacts, microphone, SMS or background access.

Ads from Google AdMob fund the free app. Some features (per-vehicle analytics, PDF export) are unlocked by watching a short rewarded ad that you always start by choice.

Your account works on the new device immediately, and for security all other sessions are signed out — GarageBook keeps one active session per account.

There is no self-service PIN reset yet. If you're signed in on any device, change the PIN from Profile → Change PIN. Otherwise contact support at [email protected] from a message that includes your registered mobile number.

The app exports an analytics PDF report (totals, category and monthly breakdowns, per-vehicle figures) that you can share anywhere. For a copy of your raw account data, email support — see the Data Deletion page for the same channel.

Not yet. GarageBook currently ships for Android only.

No. Your vehicle and expense records are used to run the app for you and are not sold or shared with third parties. The only third-party SDK in the app is Google AdMob, which serves ads and may collect device advertising identifiers under Google's privacy policy.
