Acceptable Use & Content Policy
This policy expands §8 of the Terms & Conditions. It exists to keep GarageBook safe and fair for everyone.
1. Intended use
GarageBook is for personal, non-commercial management of vehicles you own or are responsible for.
2. You must not
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or signing keys.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any GarageBook system without prior written consent.
- Attempt to access another user's account or data.
- Attempt to bypass ad gates, paywalls, or rate limits.
- Use automated scripts to create accounts or flood the API.
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the App or its data.
3. Content policy
The only content you can put into GarageBook is your own records: vehicle details, photos, amounts, dates and notes. This content is private to your account — there is no sharing, feed, or social feature. You must not store unlawful content (for example, imagery you have no right to, or content whose possession is illegal) in these fields. We do not actively monitor your records, but we may act on unlawful content if it comes to our attention (for example, during a support request you initiate).
4. Enforcement
Violations may lead to suspension or termination of your account under §13 of the Terms. We report unlawful activity to authorities where required.
